One more way to help our planet!According to the National Cooperative Grocers Association, each year 100
billion new plastic bags are created for Americans' use, requiring 12 million barrels of oil. What at WASTE!!!!!
We would appreciate it if all of our customers who come to our farm store would start bringing a reuseable cloth bag
or some other type of container to carry your purchases home in. We personally use only cloth bags for our purchases,
but have received donations of plastic bags by several of our customers to be used at our farm store. We would like
to end this practice so are asking you to bring your own containers/bags starting today.
Every little action
such as this helps save our resources and our people in the long-run.

Grass-Fed Cows are Green!Did you know that Grass-Fed cattle are Green! Yup, recent studies have
shown that cattle that are fed a diet of corn produce much more methane gas than cattle that are pasture raised. So
not only are you getting healthy meat with a diet rich in omega-3's from pasture raised animals, you are also protecting the
environment. The University of Vermont estimates that "with the right pasture and a winter feed that simulates
pasture, some farmers are seeing an 18 % reduction in methane emissions."
Just one more reason why you should
purchase our buffalo and beefalo meat! Great taste, great nutrition, great for the land, great for the environment!
